Description: The 12th hole at
Par Line Golf Course
is a moderately long uphill par 3 against the prevailing wind, with
bunkers to the right, left and behind the green.
Comments From the Caddy Shack (Rating **): What you have here is a par three dramatically uphill, usually against the wind. Whatever you do, you don't want to go long. A ball that scoots over the green can go all the way down the hill on the other side, leaving a long pitch back to a domed green. So take as much club as you need and no more, hit it as high as you can so that it lands softly. If it is very windy, hit a low scooter and hope you get there. Anything that lands short of the green will stay short of the green, but short front is the only acceptable miss. The green is tiered, runs front to back, but not very difficult to read and putt. |
