Description: The 2nd hole at
Par Line Golf Course
is a long and straight par 5 that plays with the prevailing wind.
The hole requires three solid shots to reach the green, which is guarded
on the left by a bunker.
Comments From the Caddy Shack (Rating **): There are not a lot of problems on this hole, except for the fact that it is long. So the goal is to eat up a lot of real estate and don't worry too much if you miss the fairway. A dramatic slice will put you OB, so a draw is called for off the tee, a shot made more challenging by the fact that the wind usually comes from behind and left to right. There are some mounds to the left of the fairway. Any tee shot beyond the mounds, in the fairway or not, with a decent lie and no obstacles in your way will do nicely. After you play your fairway wood second shot, you'll have 120-180 yards left. Avoid the bunker left and don't go long. Take a full fade swing with the shortest club that will get you there and if you are short you'll still have a realistic opportunity for an up and in. |
