Description: The 7th hole at
Par Line Golf Course
is a picturesque relatively short par 3 over a wilderness area to a
green that slopes severely back to front. There is a bunker right
of the green.
Comments From the Caddy Shack (Rating ***): Don't go left, you'll hit the cart path and fly into the bunker that guards the left side of #3 fairway. Don't go long, you'll leave yourself a very difficult pitch or putt. Don't go right, you'll end up in the bunker. Don't hit it fat, you'll end up with the snakes and poison ivy. Other than that, it's an easy hole. The good news is the green holds very well, and anything a little short leaves you with a relatively easy uphill chip. So play the shortest club that will get you there and swing away. The green slopes dramatically from back to front, so stay below the hole if you want to avoid a knee-knocker coming back. |
